meadow treescape

Hello friends – Monday again and the start of another busy week as I get ready to head for ClarityCrafts Open Days in Kent at the end of the week (lots of work stuff to do first!) Did you catch Barbara on YouTube yesterday showing off these fab new masks and stamp sets? Today, I’ve used the ‘meadow treescape’ for a very CAS approach, picking up the ‘corner’ theme from CAS on Friday and ‘anything CAS goes’ from AAA Cards

I took the lower three masks from the set and attached them to a square of stencil card, covering the top with a strip of low tack tape. Working up from the bottom and removing one mask at a time, I lightly swept ‘rustic wilderness’, ‘mowed lawn’ & ‘bundled sage’ Distress Oxides, just brushing from the right. I put the outer moon mask into the sky area and sponged a little ‘squeezed lemonade’ and ‘dried marigold’ to craee my sun.

I stamped the tree and three grazing sheep with ‘watering can’ Archival, adding a duck in flight and sponging a little of the grey across orn copy paper to ground the sheep. The final touches were a black Sharpie around the edges of the topper and an embossed frame on the front of a 5×5 card blank using an embedder, then glued the scene into place.

I’m very excited as I get to demo these fab stamps & masks sets on the Open Days, so I’ve got lots of inspiration to share with you over the coming week!

  1. What a fab serene scene, love the black sharpie outline which is then set off so nicely by how you have framed it. Really lovely CAS card, thanks for playing and sharing with us at AAA Cards.
