Hello there. I’ve got a look today at another of the new silhouette framer stamp sets from ClarityCrafts – today it’s the turn of the ‘just woodland and birds’. I decided to go with something a bit more thoughtful, picking up on the sentiment in the set, and based the design on the layout from Freshly Made Sketches, rotating it through 90 degrees.

I started by cutting two squares and an oval with the nested dies. I sponged ‘lucky clover’ and ‘peacock feathers’ Distress Oxides onto the stamps and popped the images onto each of the diecuts.

I edged all the toppers with a teal coloured Sharpie, popped a little scrap card on the back of each to lift them slightly, and attached them to the front of a slimline card (UK DL size). The final touch was to stamp the sentiment in ‘peacock feathers’.

I’m a big fan of this colour combination – it worked so well for these woodland images! It’s a lot more grey than bleu here today, which is a bit of a relief after the recent heat but poor timing as we’re off to an outdoor singalong screening of ‘Mamma Mia’ later on! Brollies at the ready!!
