candle centrepiece

\h\ello friends. I’m a bit late posting today, but I’ve been quite weary after a long day at the TV studios yesterday (plus I needed to work on some more secret stuff for ClarityCrafts!) I didn’t get to demo this card yesterday – I always prep more than I need as I’m paranoid I’ll run out of demonstrations to show! This card uses the ‘candle’ set from Tina’s ‘Christmas Centrepieces’ collection – the main stamp works perfectly on it’s own.

I took a piece of kraft card, cut it with one of the nested dots doodle frame-it panel dies and stamped the candle image in the centre with black Archival ink. I shaded the image with Pergaliner pencils (they work beautifully on kraft card), then used a white gel pen to colour the circles and highlight the small dots in the image.

I added a narrow layer of white paper, which brought the die cut dots into focus with those around the candle. After using a square embedder on a 6×6 card blank for a frame, I popped the topper on a mount of black card and attached it to the card front.

I didn’t add a sentiment to this one – I think the image speaks for itself!
