Hello friends! It’s time for a new challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches and I’m hosting for August so got to choose our new palette! I’ve gone with some bright summery shades this time – perfect for this time of year. I decided to use them with ClarityCrafts sycamore leaf mask (part of a set of 6) and the garden miniature stamps from Sunday’s TV shows, picking up the ‘critters’ theme from AAA Birthday with the little bird.

So, I sat the sycamore leaf mask and a mini moon onto a square of stencil card. I then brushed ‘ripe persimmon’, ‘picked raspberry’ & ‘stormy sky’ Distress Oxides in from the edges, using a spot-on sponge to sharpen up the colours.

I removed moon mask but kept the leaf outline in place and stamped the birdhouse, plants & bird from the ‘garden miniatures’ set using black Versafine Clair ink.

I added a sentiment from the ‘just butterflies & bees’ set, then edged the card with a black Sharpie. I covered a 6×6 card blank with Indian Summer companion paper and simply attached the topper in the centre.
