Hello there! I’ve got a rare card to share with you today – there’s absolutely no stamping on it! ClarityCrafts have revamped and relaunched their designer papers, so I decided to put a piece of the Amazonia set through it’s paces with the ‘leafy swirl’ die. The paper picks up the lovely tones from Hand Stamped Sentiments and the layout from TGIF challenges was ideal. I’m also going to share it with a brand new challenge, Love those pretty papers, as this paper definitely fits the bill!

I cut a piece of the Amazonia paper, which had a lovely mix of pink & yellow, to fit a 6×6 card blank and cut the leafy swirl die into the centre of it. I was going to use a white card blank, but the colours didn’t stand out so well on it so I switched to a black one instead. I’d remembered to put a layer of thin double sided adhesive so it was easy to stick it on the card. I found another piece in the Amazonia set that had pretty mint tones and die cut a couple of butterflies from it (they’re from the mini cube box die set), which I glued onto the die cut.

I added a black frame which I cut using two nested square dies, together with a little row of hearts using one of the border dies, then finished with one of the new Pinky Gray greetings stickers.

I know I’m a stamoing girl at heart, but these designer papers are just delicious and make fantastic cards just with a simple die cut!

Deborah, what a fabulous die set! All that piecing is making my head spin, but what a gorgeous dramatic effect! Love it! I know it’s so rare for us to not sneak in stamping – this is a real stunner! Thanks so much for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments!

It’s beautiful, Deborah. The Clarity dies occasionally tempt me away from parchment, but they are great together, too! xoxo
