butterfly kisses

Hello friends. Well I’m firmly back in my favourite CAS place with today’s card using ClarityCrafts ‘SHAC Peace – Japanese flowers & butterflies’ stamp set, which ash become one of my favourite sets too! Lots of inspiration for this one, with the colours from Color Hues and the summer themes from Addicted to CAS and AAA Cards

Taking a 6×6 card blank. I first embedded a frame on it with one of Clarity’s circle embedders, then stamped the outline image using black Archival ink. I decided not to use the infill stamp from the set as I wanted to keep the background white, so instead used Pergaliner pencils to shade the butterfly, flowers and the image frame

And that’s basically it, other than finishing with a word sticker that I’d edged with a black Sharpie.

This would have been a one-layer card had I not added the sticker, but it’s very definitely ‘clean & simple’!
