Hello friends. I’ve had a busy day and evening today, so decided to just pull out some of my stash and have a bit of a play! I’m a fan of the ‘love birds’ aperture die from ClarityCrafts (it works for lots of occasions) and I simply paired it up with a piece of the ‘Waimea Falls’ designer card.

I started with a black 6×6 card blank and cut the die into the front. I took one of the ‘Waimea Falls’ cards, cut it to a square (5×5) and then used one of the nested square dies to make a frame from the outer edge.

It was then simply a case of sticking it all together! I attached the panel of designer card to the inside of the card blank – now I had meant to put a piece of thin double sided adhesive sheet on the card before I die cut it, but forgot! Thankfully, I’ve got a Quickie glue pen, so was able to run the glue over the back of the die cut to get it to stick to the card – I used a wet glue around the edge as well. I then glued the frame onto the front of the card and finished with one of the KISS word stickers.

These dies are just fab if you need a card in a short space of time. I’m going to share this with Color Dare – the designer card picks up the lovely tones in the right hand column of their grid.

It’s beautiful, Deborah. I’m giving Clarity’s designer card/ paper some love after years of them being abandoned in a drawer xoxo

I was thinking the birdie die did all the work! lol It works so beautifully with the pretty paper (I’ve been to Waimea Falls! lol). And I always love colors against black like this for the magical pop factor. Thank you for sharing at Color Dare.
