garden window for Love to Craft challenge

Hello friends. TIme for a new challenge at Love to Craft – as always the theme is ‘anything goes’. The summer days are now here (Wimbledon starts today), so I’ve gone for a garden window view on my card, using one of ClarityCrafts ‘floral walls’ with their decorative panel window dies.

I cut the arched window die into half a 5×5 card blank, and also cut it into a piece of mask material, trimming it down the sides. I could then cover the windows and brush ‘hickory smoke’ Distress Oxide through the ‘brick wall’ stencil onto the main part of the card. After peeling off the mask, I cut the leafy panel dies into the two halves of the window.

Taking a 6×6 card blank, I ran low tack tape around the edges, then stamped the flowers into place and coloured them with my Pergaliners. I brushed ‘broken china’ across my favourite clouds mask to cover the sky.

Having taken the low tack tape off the card, I edged the topper with a black Sharpie, mounted it on some scrap card and attached it to the card front.

Thanks for dropping in. I’m going to share this with TicTacToe, having picked up their right hand diagonal of layers, flowers & ink blend, and with AAA Birthday – I think my flowers are rather fabulous.
