Hello everyone! I’m back at my craft desk after a fabulous month away travelling in Canada & Alaska with friends! I’m busy getting back into the swing of normal life and decided to start back with my inks and the latest Craft Club stamp from ClarityCrafts. There’s lots of blog challenges to catch up with, but I kept it simple on this one with the colours from Color Throwdown and the ‘choose two’ theme from Just Add Ink (actually I’ve used all three options!), plus ‘anything goes’ for Seize the Birthday

So, I started with a square of white card cut down to fit on a 6×6 blank. I sponged ‘picked raspberry’, ‘lucky clover’, & ‘wilted violet’ Distress Oxides onto the small circle backdrop stamp, spritzed it with water and planted it on the card square. I made sure it was completely dry, stamped the Craft Club ‘midnight flowers round’ into the centre of the circle using WOW’s clear embossing ink, then heat embossed it with superfine white powder.

I ran a black Sharpie around the card edges, but decided it wasn’t bold enough so added a black mount before attaching it to the 6×6 card blank. I used one of Clarity’s new Pinky Gray greetings stickers and then finished by repeat stamping the little flower from the ‘Just Flowers’ stamp set, using the three inks.

So there you have it – I’m back in business and will have more to share tomorrow!
