wedding day hearts

Hello crafty friends. Well, it’s time for our new challenge at Sparkles and I’m a happy bunny as Caz has chosen ‘clean & simple’ as the theme! I made this one a little while ago when ClarityCrafts released ‘Barbara’s loving heart’ stamp set – just perfect for weddings!

I started with a square of stencil card and stamped the floral heart onto it. I used one of the pre-cut masks that come with the stamps to cover it, then stamped the plain heart at an angle to sit behind it. I then simply used a couple of Pergaliner pencils to colour the border decoration and the flowers.

I cut a piece of Waimea Falls companion paper using one of the ‘nested square heart doodle frame-it panel’ dies, mounted the stencil card on it and attached it to a 7×7 card blank. The final touch was to add one of the ‘essential sentiments’ with ‘watering can’ Archival ink.

There are lots of weddings on the way – this is an easy design for cards, which you can personalise with the colour theme for any wedding.
