Hello crafty friends and welcome to another of ClarityCrafts‘ re-released Old is Gold stamps – the ‘time spent with a friend’ set. This is such a sweet image of the boy and his dog sat fishing on the riverbank and I paired it up with the ‘peppermint’ infusions paper for a bit of a different look.

I had this offcut of the ‘peppermint’ paper sat in my folder and thought it looked like a river flowing across it. I stamped the boy and his dog in ‘pebble beach’ Archival ink, then added the sentiment at the side.

I then simply added a strip of Indian Summer companion paper across the top & bottom, followed by a narrow mount of white card and attached it to a 6×6 kraft card blank.

Bit of a different style for me – what do you think? I’m going to share this one over at Simply Clean & Simple (I haven’t taken their option of flowers, as you can see!)

Thanks Em – not my usual style! Wish I’d used a slightly darker ink on it…
