Hello crafty friends! I’ve got an early peek for you at some more new stamps from ClarityCrafts being released tomorrow (Friday) – the ‘Just butterflies and bees’ set. This card focuses on the butterflies in the set and picks up on a couple of challenges – the butterfly background echos the inspiration pic at TGIF Challenges and the colours work for the monochrome theme at Addicted to CAS.

I started with a small square of stencil card and put a moon mask on it. I took three of the butterflies and repeat stamped them to fill the background, using first and second generation stamping in ‘wilted violet, ‘villainous potion’ and ‘shaded lilac’ Distress Oxides (one colour for each butterly). Once the card was covered, I lifted the mask and added the sentiment and another butterfly in ‘wilted violet’

I then simply popped it on a mount of Rainbow River companion paper and attached it to a 5×5 card blank, having created a frame on the card front with a square embedder.
