Hello crafty friends. The gorgeous new ‘Japanese florals 2 way overlay’ stamps from ClarityCrafts are launching today (6pm & 9pm on Create & Craft TV) and I’ve taken advantage of the ‘happiness panel’ for our new sketch at CAS Colours &Sketches.

The first step was to stamp the panel outline into a strip of white card. I opted not to use the infill stamp this time and instead coloured the image with Pergaliner pencils. I then cut a topper for a 6×6 card blank and used the two smallest nested square dies to cut three apertures in it. It was then a simple job to glue the stamped panel to the back of the topper.

I covered the front of a 6×6 card blank with a piece of Indian Summer companion paper, then glued some more scrap card to the back of the topper (to level it out with the stamped strip of card), added the sentiment and attached the whole piece to the card front.

These new Japanese floral stamps are just so lovely and work for so many occasions. But the big question is – how will you use the CAS Colours and Sketches layout? Come and share your crafty creations with us – we’d love to see you in our gallery.
