keep it simple

Welcome to my crafty blog and a simple die cut card using up an inky mop-up piece of card from my stash (that always makes me happy!) I reached for one of Clarity‘s fab ‘panoramic aperture quarterette’ dies – these are a quarter of the size of their regular dies (spot the clue in the name!) and perfect for smaller cards. I decided that the tones in the top row of Color Dare would be ideal for this one.

I started with an inky mop-up on a small square of Clarity’s stencil card that had ‘carved pumpkin’ and ‘bundled sage’ Distress Oxides on it. There was a patch of white in the centre, so I blended ‘dried marigold’ onto it with a stencil brush. I cut the die into the centre and simply attached the card to a 5×5 card blank that I’d used a square embedder to create a frame on.

I simply added a word sticker and finished with the three little square dots stamp from the small ‘enso enlightenment’ sst.

Keep it simple – my favourite style of crafting!
