Hello crafty friends. Here’s the last of my DT samples using the new ‘Abstract layout 5’ die from ClarityCrafts, this time using one of my favourite designer papers. I’m going to share it with Just Add Ink as I really thought it picked up the feel of their new moodboard.

I started by cutting the die into the front of a 6×6 card blank. I then cut a frame from a square of Antarctica designer paper using one of the nested dies, attaching the frame around the die cut and gluing the central square to the inside of the card front. I’d saved the pieces from the die cut, so glued the corner triangles and centre piece back into place.

I then simply stamped the Japanese sentiment into the centre with ‘cobalt’ Archival ink – I thought it suited the feel of the paper.

Thanks for dropping in. The weather’s been really miserable here, so I could do with a bit of calm and serenity!
