Romany caravan scene

Hello there! Today’s card is the last of my DT samples for the new ‘Linda’s Country Scenes’ stamps from ClarityCrafts, this time using the ‘Romany Caravan’. I do love white on kraft card (you may have noticed!), so kept it simple with heat embossing and a little pencil shading.

So here’s my quick step-by-step. I started with a 6×6 kraft card blank and used a square embedder to create a frame on the front. I then stamped the ‘Romany caravan scene’ into the centre with WOW’s clear ink pad and heat embossed it with superfine white powder. I used grey Polochromo pencils and a white Pergamano one to highlight the caravan and ground in the scene.

I felt it still needed a little more to frame it, so added one of the ‘nested square doodle frame-it’ dies that I’d cut in white card.

And that’s all there was to it! This could work well if the caravan was highlighted with a coloured pencil as an alternative – maybe red or blue?
