Doodled with love

Hello craft friends. I’m back with another take on one of the new ‘doodleology’ postcards from ClarityCrafts, again using the ‘square’ design but this time with their ‘abstract layout 1’ die that was released a couple of weeks ago.

I started by cutting the abstract layout die into black card and attached it to a 6×6 card blank. I then cut the postcard with the die – that needed 1 1/2 cards as the die is deeper than the postcard, so I used up the piece I had left over from yesterday’s landscape card. I watercoloured the white areas on the card pieces with a Pergacolour pen, scribbling it onto a mix mat and then picking the ink up with my waterbrush. Once done, I pieced the die cuts into the frame

I cut the long strip at the side from white card, then coloured that and added it into the frame, finishing with a word sticker in the other gap.

Thanks for dropping in. There was so much inspiration from Barbara & the rest of the team on yesterday’s shows – all the design team cards are over on the Clarity website with each of the products. I’m off now to share this with Addicted to Stamps & More for their ‘make your mark’ colouring challenge and Inspire.Create for an alternative take on their ‘love’ theme! See you tomorrow!
