sunrise landscape

Hello crafty friends. Today’s card uses one of the new ‘doodleology’ postcards from ClarityCrafts – these co-ordinate with their existing collection of stamps & stencils. I’ve used the ‘square’ design postcard for this offering, cutting the card along one of the curves for my landscape.

First, though, I created the sunrise on my card using the ‘sunshine’ stencil and brushing ‘carved pumpkin’ and ‘squeezed lemonade’ Distress Oxides through it onto a square of stencil card. I repeat stamped one of the ‘wee trees’ using black Archival ink.

As I said above, I then cut down one of the ‘doodleology square’ postcards along one of the curves in the pattern and brushed ‘bundled sage’ and ‘rustic wilderness’ Distress Oxides across it. I glued it along the bottom of the stencilled card, cutting the sides level with the edge once stuck down. I then simply added a mount of black card, attached it to a 7×7 card blank and finished with a word sticker.

These postcards are great additions to Clarity’s range – lots of ways to use them. I’m going to share this with the challenge at Stencil Fun, though, courtesy of the sunshine behind the landscape!
