Hello crafty friends and welcome to day 11 of my 12 Days of Clarity, working back through their Craft Club from last year. We’re nearly there – today I’ve got the ‘wrapped up in lace’ stamp from November to share with you, taking inspiration from the moodboard at Inkspirational ( although I’ve used kraft card rather than gold)

The first step was to stamp the present onto a small square of kraft card using black Archival ink. It wasn’t a perfect impression, but I thought it would be OK as I planned to colour it in. I therefore shaded the bow and pattern on the box with a white Pergamano pencil, using a light grey Polychromo to add shading. I added a drop shadow around the box and ribbon with grey Polychromos.

I popped the kraft card onto a narrow white mount and then added one of the ‘doodle frame-it panel’ mats in black card before attaching it to a 6×6 card blank. I finished with one of the ‘occasions’ sentiments in black Archival ink

I’ll be back tomorrow with the last in this series, although I’m running a day behind the 12 Days of Christmas – it’s Twelfth Night tonight so I’m off to take all the decorations down!
