Hello crafty friends and welcome to day 2 of my 12 Days of Clarity, today with the ‘it’s a wrap heart’ stamp from Clarity‘s Craft Club back in February (#196). It’s a beautiful image so didn’t need too much adding to it and I thought it would work perfectly for a wedding card.

I decided to go with an A6 card blank, which I don’t use very much these days, and used a rectangular embedder to create a frame on the front. I then stamped the heart in the centre and heat embossed it with WOW’s metallic silver powder. I cut a mask for the heart so that I could add a background with the ‘rectangle aperture mat’ A4 stencil, brushing ‘kitsch flamingo’ Distress Oxide across it and dragging a little ‘picked raspberry’ around the edges with a spot-on sponge.

I used three pink Pergaliner pencils to colour the ribbon around the edge and the little flower buds in the image, finishing with a word sticker.

This feels like such a change from all the Christmas cards over the last few months! I took the layout from the design at Freshly Made Sketches, the colours from Color Hues and the celebratory theme from Inkspirational

Thanks! I usually struggle to combine 2 challenges so 3 is a result!

This is a beautiful card, and a fantastic way to combine all three challenges! The ink blending behind the heart adds some a great sense of dimension. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
