Hello again! Just a quick card today sharing some more of ClarityCrafts‘ adorable penguins – did you know they’ve got an Advent penguin hunt going on over at their website? There’s a new penguin hidden somewhere each day and a clue to help us find them. However you don’t have top look very hard for these three on my card, inspired by AAA Cards and Sparkles Christmas theme of animals or birds.
I flipped AAA’a sketch and stamped the three chicks from ‘family of penguins’. After covering them with the pre-cut masks that come with the stamps, I used a torn piece of copy paper and sponged ‘broken china’ Distress Oxide to create what I hope would look like snow drifts… In fact the blue is a bit too dark and they look like they’re jumping in the waves off Antarctica!
I simply added the sentiment and mounted the card directly onto a 5×5 card blank
job done!

Well, I think the ‘waves’ are fantastic! Love you used torn paper for the effect. I’m so glad you were able to play along with us at AAA Cards during the busy holiday season, hope to see more of you work!
