birthday rose frame

Hello there! Well it’s launch day for the new ‘seasonal tags & frames’ stamps from ClarityCrafts and I’ve used one of the ‘summer’ set for a birthday card, picking up the layout from Atlantic Hearts and the ‘anything goes’ theme from Seize the Birthday.

I started by stamping the sentiment first in the centre of a square of stencil card, then added the rose frame twice to overlap and create a third frame around the sentiment. I used the ‘trellis’ stencil to add pattern in opposite corners, brushing ‘scattered straw’ and ‘carved pumpkin’ Distress Oxides through it. It was then out with my trusty Pegaliners to shade in the roses, leaves & the frames.

All I then needed to do was add a mount of dark green Rainbow River companion paper and attach it to a 6×6 card blank.

These are just such versatile stamps – I love them! There’s loads more inspiration from the Clarity design team over on Barbara Gray’s blog as well – check it out!
