Q for Quadruple at Alphabet Challenge

Welcome to my crafty blog and a second outling for the new ‘roses’ floral aperture framer die from ClarityCrafts. I’ve got a bit of a different look on this one, after the white on white card I shared on Wednesday, thanks to a piece of Clarity’s Shenandoah designer paper. The die also works beautifully for our new Q for Quadruple theme at Alphabet Challenge – thanks to it’s square design the die has four of each flower in it! I’m also sharing it with Global Design Project, where the challenge is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) Ann’s lovely card – I’ve picked up the flowers from her design.

The first step was to cut the roses die into a square of white card that I’d attached a thin layer of double sided Stick It adhesive sheet to. I stuck the die cut onto a piece of Shenandoah designer paper and then to a 7×7 card blank.

I thought the verse from the ‘poetry verses 1’ set was a perfect sentiment for the diecut, stamped in ‘library green’ Archival ink.

I hope I’ve inspired you to come and play along with us at Alphabet Challenge – you just need to include four of something on your card. The possibilitites are endless!
