Sparkles challenge – winter animals

Hello again! I’m back with another of the new ‘Merry Christmas’ quote stamps from ClarityCrafts, which today I’ve teamed up with the ‘family of penguins’ set – they’re just perfect for our new theme of ‘winter animals’ at Sparkles challenge. And obviouly I can’t resist sharing it with a few other Christmas challenges at The Holly and Ivy, Peace on Earth and Merry Little Christmas

I started with a piece of ‘Barb’s Favourite – Antarctica’ paper, cut to fit on a 6×6 card blank, & stamped the quote and the three little penguins onto it. Obviously, the colour of the paper showed through the clear parts of the stamps and I decided not to go with technicolour penguins (it was a thought…!) so stamped them again onto a piece of white paper, fussy cut their bodies (don’t leave a white border) and glued them directly onto the stamped images.

I edged the paper with a black Sharpie and a ruler, then attached it to a 6×6 card blank. Nothing else needed!

These new quote stamps are just great and make such a change from the usual straight sentiments – these penguin chicks clearly think so too!
