Hello crafty friends! I hope you’re having a good weekend – I’ve been getting busy batch making Christmas cards with the ‘bijou 12 Days of Christmas‘ stamps from ClarityCrafts, and they’re on offer at 30% off until midnight on Monday, so a great time to grab a pre-Christmas bargain.

I’ve kept these firmly in my happy CAS style, as the small images work perfectly for it. I cut small 6cm squares of Clarity’s stencil card and stamped the partridge in ‘library green’ Archival ink, then stamped and heat embossed the gold ring image with gold superfine powder.

I shaded both images with Pergaliner pencils, using bright colours for the partridge one and blending cream & light grey on the rings.

I mounted each topper onto a co-ordinating square of card and attached them to 5×5 card front that I’d created frames on with a small square embedder. Here’s a closer look at each one

So that’s a few more Christmas cards in the bag! I’m off now to share these wil a few challenges: Less is More have got a CAS ‘anything goes’ theme, my partridge card picks up the bright & foliage options from Just Add Ink (although the partridge’s colours are more muted) and both cards fit the Christmas challenge at Happy Little Stampers.
