happy cats!

Here I am with another of the new A5 quote postcards from ClarityCrafts, this time with the ‘wee cats’ stamps – they definitely know what makes them happy! I’m sharing this as another offering for the encouragement/friendship theme at Time Out, together with the ink blending challenge at AAA Cards

I opted to blend a rainbow of colours onto the card with ‘chipped sapphire’, ‘broken china’, ‘mowed lawn’, ‘squeezed lemonade’, ‘carved pumpkin’ & ‘festive berries’ Distress Oxides to reflect the happy vibe of the quote. I didn’t bother with masking a frame, just kept the ink towards the centre so the blending had soft edges.

I then added the ‘wee cats’ around the quote – it reminded me of one of the climbing trees you can buy for moggies! I finished with the paw prints from the ‘miniature cats & dogs’ set

I’ve had a great afternoon with my craft group – spending time crafting definitely makes me happy!
