Hello crafty friends. I’m sharing another of the ‘festive rounds’ sets that ClarityCrafts launched at the weekend – this time it’s the ‘holly’ stamps. I’ve used a die cut overlay with them, which picks up the circle design on the card by Lisa E at Just Us Girls

The first step was to mask the edge of a 6×6 card blank with low tack tape. I stamped the holly rounds three times, first the outline in ‘rustic wilderness’ Distress Oxide & then the infill stamp with ‘iced spruce’.

I cut a square of card slightly smaller than the blank and die cut corresponding circles into it to sit over the holly. Note – I should have done this first , as I would have then been able to mark exactly where to stamp the holly on the card, rather than the other way round. Anyway, I managed it! I glued strips of scrap card onto the back of the die cut topper to lift it slightly, stamped the sentiment in place and then attached it to the card front.

I finished with a few red enamel dots for the holly berries.

Thanks for dropping in. I’ve still got a few more cards from last week’s new sets to share over the next few days, so stay tuned!
