Hello there! I’ve managed to dip back into Clarity‘s Craft Club dies today, this time to the ‘this too shall pass’ aperture die from October 2022 (#46). I’ve pulled together a card to catch a couple of blog challenges closing today – the layout from Atlantic Hearts and the palette from Creative Colour, plus a further contribution for Happy Little Stampers

I started with a piece of pink card and stamped the image from the A6 ‘Tina’s floral spray’ set onto the bottom of it with ‘cobalt’ Archival ink. I cut the aperture die into a piece of navy card that I’d backed with a thin layer of adhesive sheet, then trimmed the sentiment out of it and attached that to the pink card.

I mounted a square of white card onto a narrow layer of the navy and attached it to a 6×6 kraft card blank (the nearest I’d got the the ‘wild wheat’ in Creative Colour’s palette). I then offset the pink strip of card against one of navy on the card front, to pick up the sketch.

I finished with a few Glossies dots to pull in the tone of the kraft card.

And this is a card with an added bonus, as I’ve now got a frame left over to use on a future project after trimming the sentiment out of the centre!
