health, peace & sweet content

Hello crafty friends. I’m back with another of ClarityCrafts new ‘Christmas sentiment aperture’ framer dies that are being launched today. This time, it’s the ‘Health Peace & Sweet Content’ die – I’ve picked up the current ColorDare challenge (the paper has melon tones in the centre, along with the reds & greens) and the sketch at TGIF

So this is a very easy card – the die & designer paper do all the work! The first step was to cut the die into a piece of Waimea Falls designer paper, to give a landscape effect across the centre.

I built a little scene across the designer paper by stamping the trees & flock of birds from the ‘woodland miniatures’ stamp set.

After adding a little shading with a grey polychromo pencil, I edged the paper with a black Sharpie & a ruler and attached it to a 7×7 card blank. Job done!

Thanks for dropping in. I think these dies are proving to be very popular already, which doesn’t surprise me – it’s so useful to have the frame and sentiment all in one for a card.

  1. I think this is just stunning! What fabulous paper and a gorgeous die. But your added touches really make it come alive. Thank you for sharing at Color Dare.
