Welcome to my crafty blog and a first look at some of the new Rectangle Aperture A5 stencils and Word Chain stamps that ClarityCrafts are launching today.

For this first card, I masked off the centre of the stencil on a piece of white card that I’d cut to fit a 5×7 card blank. I then blended ‘wilted violet’, ‘peacock feathers’ & ‘mowed lawn’ Distress Oxides through stencil, using Clarity’s stencil brushes. I ran a black Sharpie around the card edges and then fixed it onto the card blank

All I then needed to do was stamp ‘happy anniversary’ from one of the new Word Chain sets across the centre panel. I kept this one simple – the stencil needs no other embellishment.

Thanks for dropping in – I’ll be posting more samples over the next couple of days. I’m heading off now to share this one with the challenges at Inspired by for their ‘big bold sentiment’ sketch and Happy Little Stampers for their stencil theme.
