Hello there! Here we are again at Monday – not sure how that happened so fast! I’ve got another delightful stencil to share with you today from ClarityCrafts‘ Art Nouveau launch this weekend – this time it’s the turn of the snowdrops, which comes in a duo with the tulips from Saturday’s post. I’m sharing this card with Time Out challenges for their monochrome theme and with Happy Little Stampers‘ stencil challenge.

I started by attaching the stencil to a piece of Clarity’s 7×7 stencil card and then blended ‘bundled sage’, ‘mowed lawn’ & ‘rustic wilderness’ Distress Oxides through it, starting with the lightest shade in the centre and then working outwards – I was aiming to keep the snowdrops as pale as possible without losing the stencil outline. I then added the ‘Thinking of you’ art nouveau sentiment in black.

I trimmed the card down, added a layer of green Amazonia companion paper and attached it to a 7×7 card blank

Nice and simple – definitely my preferred style!

A subtle choice of colour, and the faded flowers to keep them lighter works well xx
