Sparkles challenge – Christmas in July

Hello there. It might seem odd that I’m sharing another Christmas card today, in the middle of July, but ’tis the season when crafters start to produce their cards! Add to that the new theme of ‘Christmas in July’ over at Sparkles Challenge and this is the result, which I’m also going to share with the Christmas challenge at Happy Little Stampers and the ‘anything goes’ theme at Christmas Craft Creations

This is actually the last of my design team cards for the new SHAC Baubles stamp sets that ClarityCrafts launched last month and I realised I hadn’t shared it. There’s nothing too complicated about this one (my preferred style!) – I simply stamped the smaller snowflakes and stars from the two sets randomly on the diagonal across the card, using ‘chipped sapphire’ Distress Oxide.

I mounted the topper onto a layer of navy card, added the ‘season’s greetings’ sentiment and attached it to a 6×6 card blank.

So, have you started your Christmas cards yet? If so, then come and share your creations with us at Sparkles. If not, check out the ideas from the rest of the design team and maybe this will inspire you to start! Our challenge runs until 14th August.

  1. I start my Christmas cards in December !!!! Luckily here in Greece, people don’t bother so much with them and as it’s my busiest time of year in my shop I’m so glad. I love your card beautifully CAS and very classy.
