little red tractor

Welcome to my crafty blog. I’ve gone for the lovely little tractor from Newton’s Nook as the focal point on this card, thanks to the new theme of ‘Farmer’s Day’ over at Festive Friday challenge. I’ve picked up gingham, green, die cut & tractor from their inspo list, used the colours from Just Add Ink and the layout from Atlantic Hearts

I started by mounting a square of white card onto a layer of SU’s ‘starry sky’ and then onto a 6x6x card blank. I cut a couple of strips of their ‘parakeet party’ patterned paper, picking up the gingham element from Festive Friday, added a banner end to one of them and attached them both to the card front.

I used a very old SU punch and ‘starry sky’ patterend paper for the tree. I stamped the tractor in black Versafine clair, then coloured it with a ‘sweet sorbet’ Write marker (adding a few black elements). Once die cut, I attached it to the card front with foam pads and finished with a few resin dits and a Clarity word sticker.

It’s been such a busy week that I’ve relished having a little time for crafting this afternoon. See you tomorrow with another creation.
