Hello crafty friends. Today’s card uses a Claritystamp set that I’ve been meaning to get out again for some time – Tina’s doodle flowers. It’s got lots of little elements in it, and those birds are just so cute! I thought it would work well with the colours from the new challenge at Color Throwdown, and obviously the theme from Addicted to CAS!

I’ve used a 6×6 card blank for this one, and started by stamping and heat embossing the squiggly lines from the set with WOW’s vanilla powder (I used two of the lines on each side, so had to be careful to line them up accurately).

I then added the little leafy sprays and one of the birds, again heat embossed with the vanilla powder.

FInally I heat embossed the sentiment (from the ‘happy birday’ set) and perched the second bird on it.

All I then needed to do was add colour highlights to the birds and leaves with an aqua Pergaliner pencil, and that was it!

Thanks for dropping in. I think I may be playing with this set a bit more, now it’s out on my craft desk – check in tomorrow for another creation!
Thank k you so much for joining in my bird challenge at ATCAS with this super cute card. I love your little birdies they are so cute and beautifully coloured.
