Hello there! Bit of a late post today – I’ve had a brilliant afternoon with friends at a gardening fair (and got myself a few bargains as well!) I grabbed a bit of time this evening to do a bit of crafting, though, using Stampin’ Up!’s ‘happiness abounds’ stamps & dies and the sketch & colours from CAS Colours & Sketches

I started with a couple of strips of white card from my scraps box. I blended ‘cranberry’ Adirondack ink onto one of them and heat embossed the other with WOW’s ‘aquamarine’ powder. I trimmed them both at an angle and glued onto a piece of card to fit a 6×6 card blank. I stamped the sentiment in place using the ‘cranberry’ ink and attached the topper to the card blank.

I stamped the large flower onto white card and heat embossed it with WOW’s bright white powder; I did the same with the double leaf in the set. I watercoloured them both with ink – the flower in the ‘cranberry’ & the leaves with ‘peeled paint’ Distress Oxide, then cut them out with the co-ordinating dies. I added them to the card front with foam pads.

Thanks for dropping in. I’ll be back to share another card tomorrow
So pretty! Sweet and simple!
