Hello crafty friends. Another Father’s Day card today, this one commissioned by a friend for their train loving dad. I’ve only got one stamp with a train on it (obvious shopping need there!), which is CI-404 from Crafty Individuals. I haven’t used it in ages (how often do I say that…?!), so it defintitely needed to come out of the sidings. I’ve picked up the sketch from Atlantic Hearts and the new colour palette of green, cream & kraft from Color Throwdown. I flipped the sketch because of the way the train stamp faces.

I found this old paper in my stash (no idea where it originally came from!), mounted it on a lare of cream card and then onto a 6x6x kraft card blank.

I added a piece of cream card to pick up the sketch, then stamped the train onto a piece of kraft card using ‘rustic wilderness’ Distress Oxide. It’s part of a lartger rectab=ngle stamp, so I fussy cut to it just leave the train image and gled it onto the card front. I stamped the sentiment (from Lawn Fawn) in ‘pebble shore’ Archival ink, and finished with three co-ordinating Glossies.

This one really is a mash-up of different products – what do you think? Hopefully the recipient will really like it.
A super masculine card x

Fabulous card, I struggle with masculine cards so I always love to see others takes on them, this is great! Thanks for playing along with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (AHSC).
