Hello there. Just a quick post this evening with a birthday card using two of the profile dies from Julie Hickey Designs – they’re great for quick cards. I’ve picked up the ‘birthday’ theme from AAA cards, with the colours from Color Throwdown

I blended Distress Oxides in ‘kitsch flamingo’ and ‘shaded lilac’ onto a piece of smooth white card and then die cut the ‘happy’ and ‘birthday’ profile dies into it. I scattered some WOW pale gold embossing powder across it and heated it, then glued the words onto a square of white card.

I heat embossed three of the small hearts from Julie’s ‘sentiment circles’ set in the gold, then added a few of the open hearts in the pink and lilac. I blended the two inks around the edge of another square of white card, mounted the topper onto it and then attached both to a 6×6 card blank.

Thanks for dropping in. It’s been a busy day today – I’ll be back with another card tomorrow.
Love this!

A beautiful card, I love the colours you have blended and the addition of the embossed gold sprinkles. Thanks for entering your CAS card over at AAA Cards birthday challenge.
