Hello crafty friends. Today’s card features one of the beautiful butterfly images from Claritystamp’s ‘Cherry Green’s butterflies & moths’ set, inspired by the photo over at Fusion – I just love the colours on those butterflies! I’ve teamed it with the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and will also share it as a second submission for Less is More as I’ve kept it on one layer and it’s definitely off centre!

The first step was to stamp the butterfly (actually, it might be a moth!) onto the front of a 6×6 card blank. I then shaded it with three blue Pergaliner pencils, blending them together.

I used the ‘clouds’ mask & a blending brush to add ‘broken china’ Distress Oxide for a soft sky around the butterfly, picking up the design from Freshly Made Sketches.

I finished by adding the sentiment (from the ‘entwined sentiments’ set) – just stamped in black Archival ink.

As you all know, I do like clean and simple cards!
