Welcome to my crafty bog and my regular Sunday dip back into the Claritystamp Craft Club. Today we’re up to June 2018, which was this really sweet teapot.

I decided it had such a lovely pattern that I didn’t want to distract with a busy background, so I just started by blending ‘juniper’ Adirondack ink with a brush into the lower left part of a 6×6 card blank. I then stamped the teapot over it using grey ‘watering can’ Archival ink.

I used a Pergamano blending nib to pick up more ink and colour the teapot – Distress Oxides in ‘ripe persimmon for the flowers and ‘hickory smoke’ for the leaves, and adding more of the ‘juniper’ around the teapot to deepen the shading. I tore a scrap piece of paper, laid it across the bottom of the teapot and sponged a little of the ‘hickory smoke’ across it to give the pot some ground to sit on.

I finished by just popping one of Clarity’s word stickers below the pot – I think that says it all!

Thanks for dropping in. I’m going to share this card with a couple of challenges. I’ve used the colours from TGIF (I went for the nearest matches I had as I don’t have the SU inks), together with the ‘minimalist’ theme from Just Add Ink

Wow, the teapot stamp is so cute! I love how you’ve coloured it and added the ground underneath. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink.
