Hello crafty friends and welcome to today’s offering. It’s another Christmas card, this time using the retired ‘arrange a wreath’ set from Stampin’ Up! with the colour palette from Inspire.Create and the sketch from TGIF. This is another one that’s a last minute entry for both challenges, and I also hope the Inspire.Create team will forgive me for substituting the nearest colours I had for their theme as I don’t own any SU inkpads.

I started by attaching a piece of light green card to an A6 card blank. I die cut the wreath in ‘evening evergreen’ and then glued it onto the card front. Now I forgot to take my usual step-by-step photos (sorry about that), so onto the next part, which was to stamp and die cut the flowers and leaves from the set. I stamped the flowers in ‘festive berries’ Distress Oxide and heat embossed them with WOW’s clear sparkle, and did the leaves with ‘gold satin’ powder (just pushing it a bit with the colours by swapping the yellow for gold!). I managed to get a photo at a ibt of an angle to show you some of the sparkle.

I then die cut a banner and heat embossed one of the sentiments from SU’s ‘the stars are shining’ set. Now here’s another slight liberty (this time with the sketch) as I didn’t have any narrow ribbon or twine that looked right against this as a bow. I hope the TGIF team will forgive the substitution of three gold pearls instead!

Thanks for dropping in. Can you believe it’s less than 6 weeks to Christmas?!
So pretty!
