Welcome to my crafty blog and another nice and simple card. I’ve delved back into last year’s Clarity Craft Club dies for this one, using the ‘leafy aperture’ from July (#19). I thought it would work well with the inspiration photo from the current challenge at Inkspirational, which features a greenhouse.

I started by embossing a square of white card with Stampin’ Up!’s ‘pinewood planks’ folder, and then cut the leafy aperture into it.

I recut the ‘leafy aperture’ in dark green card ad used one of the square nested dies to cut a narrow border around it. I’d remembered to out ‘Stick It’ on the back of the card, so it was easy to then peel off the backing and stick the die cut down over the first image. I cut a dark green frame using a couple more of the larger nested dies and attached that around the aperture, and added a square of Clarity’s ‘Amazonia’ designer paper behind the leaves to soften the white background.

I finished by stamping one of the Clarity ‘word sticker’ stamps in dark green, trimmed it down attached it to the card front. I thought this phrase would fit with a get well or sympathy card.

Thanks for dropping in. I know some of my friends are keen gardeners, but I have to confess that I have no idea what plant these leaves might be from! They are pretty, though, and that works perfectly for me.
Wow, this is stunning!
