Welcome to my crafty blog, and my Sunday lookback through the Claritystamp new design club since I first joined at the end of 2021. Today’s card uses stamp #81 – the thankyou line sentiment from July 2013. Clarity now do a few sets of these line sentiments, but I think this was the first one. I’ve paired it up with the bonus stamp set that came with my January club stamp this year, and used the colours from this week’s challenge over at Color Throwdown

I started by stamping the sentiment onto a piece of white card that I’d cut to fit on an A6 card blank. I wanted to position the flowers on the line, so extended it on the left side using a black micron pen (and a ruler!)

Next step was to stamp the little flowers and leaves. I took the inspiration for using these from the bedspread in this week’s challenge photo.

All I then needed to do was colour the flowers. I used my new Pergamano pens, which I treated myself to in the recent Clarity sale – they have a very fine tip at one end, which was perfect for colouring in the little images. It’s a bit tricky to see in the photos, but I have used all four colours!

You can never have too many thank you cards, so I think I’ll be making a few more of these. Enjoy the rest of your weekend – I’ll be back with another card tomorrow.
