Welcome to my crafty blog. Today’s card is a masculine one using Stampin’ Up! paper and an old Memory Box die. It’s a simple one to make (I don’t do difficult!), and could easily be adapted just by changing the papers. I took inspiration for the design from this week’s challenge over at Fab Friday

I started by rotating the design for the card. I cut the die into a piece of gold satin card, and then backed it onto a larger piece of the SU designer paper from the ‘golden honey’ set. I really liked the graphic style of the gold & black design.

I then cut another piece of black card the same size as the DSP, and off set the first piece against it, to pick up the design from Fab Friday.

All I then needed to do was attach it to a 5×7 card blank and it was finished. I do like gold and black together on a card – it looks quite luxurious.
