Hello! Thanks for dropping to in share my crafty thoughts and endeavours. I don’t claim to be an expert – I’m in this for the love of crafting. It’s a journey, not a finished product, and it would be great to have you along for the ride.
Here’s a card I made using the wonderful ‘Tina’s floral spray’ stamp from Claritystamp. it’s such a versatile stamp for any occasion. I made the background myself, by squishing some Distress ink colours (Peeled Paint and Wild Honey) onto a blending mat, using a brayer to spread them out and then spritzing the ink with water before mopping it up onto a piece of Claritystamp’s stencil card.

It’s a really easy way to make your own backgrounds. Once I’d got my stencil card sorted, I stamped ‘Tina’s Floral Spray’ in Archival Watering Can ink, and then coloured the image using Spectrum Noir pencils. All that was then left was to trim the card down to 13cm square and layer it onto a 13.5cm square mat in green, before mounting it on a 14.5cm square card. Add a sentiment (I used the ‘Entwined Sentiments’ set from Claritystamp), and the job’s done
Thanks for taking a look at my efforts. In these difficult days, we all need to keep calm and carry on crafting.
So THAT’S how you do it!
Very clever, and lovely.
