Hello everyone. I’ve got one of my demos from this morning’s Clarity Social TV to share with you, for our new theme at Alphabet Challenge – we’ve now reached X and Pamela has chosen X-ray, which is a clever way to bring us a black & white theme. I’ve been using the Doodle Rounds stamps, which are now on a great value last chance offer – Clarity won’t be making any more of these, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.

This is a simple process (my favourite kind!) I first cut a piece of premium card to 4.5″ square which I rubbed with an anti-static pad, then inked up the Pinwheel Doodle Round stamp (I used Versafine Clair, which is a bit more juicy than Archival) and stamped it across the corner of the card. I then covered it with clear embossing powder and set it with my heat gun – it’s a great way of making the black ink really stand out. You may be able to see that I smudged the image right in the corner, but I decided that I quite like the effect (well, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!)

I simply added one of the Mini Word Chain sentiments (also on a clearance offer), stamping in the Versafine and heat embossing that too. You won’t be surprised to see that I used a square embedder and ball tool to emboss a frame onto the front of a 6×6 card blank before running a black Sharpie around the topper edges and gluing it into place.

If you didn’t manage to catch this and my other demos on the 10am Clarity Social TV they’re ready and waiting over on the YouTube channel. And I’ll be back at 2pm with some of the earlier SHAC products to share with you – come and join me!
Now, I have to confess this stamp set has never seen action before – not a great confession given that it’s now heading for retirement! I’m therefore going to share it with the challenge at Neglected Stuff, for obvious reasons!

Love this! The x-ray theme is a cool one and the smudged corner makes it look more like an x-ray!
