Hello crafty friends. I thought it was time to take another look at Barbara’s Floral Hearts stamps, one of Clarity’s March Products of the Month – add any of those to your shopping basket and you get double loyalty points on everything. I’ve kept it very CAS (not that that will surprise you!) only using the stamps in the set.

So, having cut a piece of Clarity’s premium card to 5.5″ square, I stamped the roses heart image in black Archival ink and covered it with the pre-cut mask that comes with the stamps. I then added a little chain of leaves to hang it from, using one of the infill stamps and ‘mowed lawn’ Distress Oxide.

Next as to use more of the infill stamps to add colour to the image, starting with ‘mowed lawn’ for the frame and leaves, ‘salvaged patina’ for the roses and ‘wilted violet’ for the little boxes.

Finally, I added two of the sentiments from the set, curving ‘you’re my everything’ to follow the outline of the heart. Once done, I popped it straight onto a 6×6 card blank.
