Hello everyone! It’s launch day today for the fab new Branches, Twigs & Sprigs stamps and I decided to build a wildflower meadow for our new W theme at Alphabet Challenge. I just used a few of the stamps from Set 1 for my delicate little blooms, aided by another of my Colour Cube cards (I am doing my best to put these to good use!)

Starting with a 3.5″ square of Premium Card, I first stamped the little stems across the bottom in ‘library green’ Archival ink. It needed a bit more depth, so I repeated the process with ‘twisted citron’ Distress Oxide.

I picked out ‘shaded lilac’, ‘kitsch flamingo’ and ‘wilted violet’ Distress Oxides, mounted three of the little flower stamps onto Clarity’s Stamp Pens and set about filling in the blooms in my meadow.

I wanted to soften the white background on the topper, so brushed ‘tumbled glass’ Distress Ink across Clarity’s clouds mask to create my sky. I found the perfect sentiment in the Just Flowers set, then edged the topper with a light blue Sharpie pen. Finally, I embossed a frame onto a 6×6 card blank using one of the square embedders and a ball tool, then sat the topper within it.

My friend had a lovely wildflower patch in the garden at her last house, and I’m thinking of seeding an area in mine as well – so great for the wildlife. You can get more inspiration with these stamps from Barbara’s launch show over on Clarity’s YouTube channel (it’s the 10am video on Friday 6th March), both from Barb’s demos and the other samples by my design team buddies. I’m going to spread the love with this one at Inkspirational for their stencil theme, having used the clouds mask and with Triple B for their ‘blooms’.
