Hand tied bouquet

Hello crafty friends. I’m busy doing my final prep this evening for tomorrow’s Clarity Social TV shows, so that I’ve got everything ready to head to Clarity Towers in the morning. I thought I’d share a bit of a taster with the stamps I’ll be using on the 10am show – the Floral Delights Bouquets & Vases. It’s such a pretty set with lots of potential combinations, but I decided to simply use one of the bouquets – and these stamps are perfect for Mother’s Day, which is next month in the UK.

I started by stamping the bouquet into white card using black Archival ink, then pencil shaded it with ‘coral’ & ‘madder’ for the blooms, ‘permanent earth green’ for the leaves and stems and the B14 Perga Colour pencil to accent the little buds. I then cut it out with a nested oval die.

I’d spotted the little bow in the Floral Delights – Merry Christmas set (also on my show in the morning), so stamped it on a bit of scrap card, shaded it with the B14 Pergacolour pencil and fussy cut it, then glued it onto the stems of the bouquet. The sentiment from the stamps didn’t quite fit on my oval, so I stamped it and fussy cut it into two parts, also gluing that across the stems. I cut a mount from Waimea Falls companion paper using a nested oval picot die (they’re slightly larger than the plain dies so a perfect size) and attached the topper to a 5×7 card blank.

So I hope you can join me and Paul over on Clarity Crafts’ YouTube channel tomorrow (Friday) at 10am & 2pm – I’ve got lots more to show you! Before then, I’m going to share this with Creative Colour Challenges, having used their palette to colour my bouquet, with Beautiful Blossoms for their ‘anything goes’ theme and Double D who are looking for ‘signs of love’.
