Folkart Christmas

Hello again! I’ve got a second card to share with you today, as an early peek at some more new stamps coming from Clarity tomorrow – a lovely set of Folk Art images with a collection of sentiments. (I’ll update this with a link to the products once they’re available). Now, you’ll recall that I’m aiming to produce at least one Christmas card each week through the year, and so I took advantage of the Christmas sentiment and some of the trees in the set to keep the ball rolling today.

For this one, I cut a piece of card to fit on an A6 card blank and stamped the sentiment across it with ‘watering can’ Archival ink. I sat a little forest of trees across the top of it, using ‘evergreen bough’ and ‘kitsch flamingo’ Distress Oxides.

Although I liked this, it looked a bit sparse (even by my CAS standards!), so I added a few more trees, this time in ‘peacock feathers’ Distress Oxide. Much better! All I then needed to do was attach the topper to the card blank.

Tune in to Clarity Social TV tomorrow (Sunday) at 2pm to get the full look at these goodies (and some more as well!) I’ll be watching on catch-up as we’ve got friends coming to lunch, but I know the show will be worth the wait! Meanwhile, I’m off to share this card with the ‘anything goes’ challenges at ABC Christmas and Merry Little Christmas
