Clarity Craft Club 2025 lookback – October

Hello crafty friends. I’m a bit late posting today – it’s been a busy first day back in action after the Christmas & New Year holidays. Anyway, I’m determined to finish my trip back through the 2025 Clarity Craft Club stamps, so today’s card features the Snowflake Tag image from October. I was inspired by my Clarity design team buddy Jane Telford’s design on the project sheet that comes with each month’s stamps and decided to create a little scene inside the tag

First step was to stamp the snowflake tag onto a piece of white card using ‘cobalt’ Archival ink. I masked around the edges with low tack tape and used a landscape mask and a mini moon to create my background, sponging ‘tumbled glass’ Distress Ink across them.

Next was to trim the card down around the tag, edge it with a dark blue Sharpie pen, add a couple of trees from the Build a Landscape stamps in ‘shadow grey’ Archival and finish with one of the new Art Deco Sentiments in the ‘cobalt’. I used one of the pieces from the rectangle aperture A4 stencil set to create a frame by embossing it into an A6 card with a ball tool and then sat the topper within it.

You can really extend the life of your supplies by repurposing them for occasions other than the obvious ones, and I think this makes a great winter birthday card, especially with all the snow and ice in the UK at present. I’m sharing it with AAA Birthday as that’s their current theme and with CAS on Friday who are looking for snowflakes.
